Improve your English while being totally immersed in English life

You will improve your English while enjoying the culture and history of the south west of England

This cultural course is tailored to your needs such as discussing literature, art or theatre plus visits to places and events of interest.

We will discover the vibrant city of Bristol and explore the harbour area, with its museums and modern art gallery, cafes and restaurants. ‘The Georgian House’ and ‘The Red Lodge’ are examples of Tudor and Georgian architecture and show you how life was in those periods.

Bristol’s City Art Museum and Gallery is a delightful experience with galleries displaying Egyptian history, natural history, dinosaurs and minerals, as well as a small but exquisite art gallery. There are also farmers’ food market and markets selling antiques and vintage items. We can go to a musical at The Hippodrome, Bristol’s musical theatre, see a play or listen to live jazz in a pub. A boat tour of the city is a fabulous way to see the sights and a visit to Brunel’s ss Great Britain is one of the best exhibitions in Europe!
